Enjoying the weather!

Here are some pictures of Manny Brooks on Sunday after church. We played outside for a while and then took him to the pier in our neighborhood.

Such a big boy!

So sorry we don't have up any Easter pictures; we don't have any!! Mommy got the stomache virus Easter morning, so, there were no Easter pictures. We'll get dressed up and pretend soon.

Manny had his 4 month check up this week, and everything is great. He weighs 16.5 lbs and is 25.5 inches. This put him in the 75th percentile. Everyday he does something new. He is cooing and trying to tell us all kinds of things, laughing up a storm, eating all kinds of grose messy foods, trying to get two teeth, and standing really well with us just holding his fingures. Can't believe how he is growing!!

Having a "Good Friday"!

Manny is enjoying his day off on Good Friday. He thinks the world is great because we let him sleep in nothing but a diaper last night, and then let him get in the "big bed" this morning. He has been quite the little camera ham, and it's only 11:00 a.m.! These are a few pictures I took of him while he was sleeping in our bed and when he woke up to play. Right now, he is sitting here beside me being very noisy. He has learned to squeal! He thinks the sound is hilarious; Franny thinks it's frightening! Palm Sunday

Today is Palm Sunday, and Manny was a hit at church this morning! He wiggled and danced during the music, waved his palm branch, and, of course, he slept through the sermon! (sorry Leanne!) He is such a good church baby. These are a few pictures that we took when we got home.
It is a beatiful day here today. Jeremy and I are going to take Manny and his friend Joel to the beach. I'm sure we'll take pictures of the boys so be watching for more to come!

Getting a tooth!

Guess Manny will be eating a steak before we know it!! He has one little tooth that is starting to break the skin and another that is not far behind. Thank God for infant Tylenol! He likes his teething rings, but he loves nothing more than to put his whole hand in his mouth and use that instead. Before we know it that sweet sweet crooked smile will have a little snaggle tooth!

Manny is blogging!!

Hi everyone! We thought a webpage would be a great way to keep everyone up to date on Manny. He changes every single day, and we want everyone to be apart of all of the fun. We will try to update this every week, maybe even more.

This week we have started putting some babyfood in his cereal! It has been absolutely hilarious! Here is what we know so far: Applesauce seems OK, he'll eat it; prunes are NOT a hit! There were more prunes on mommy and in his ears than in his mouth! BUT, bananas are the key! We hear a lot of mmmm during bananas! This picture is the first time he tried out babyfood.
